Proper Exercise & Nutrition

At OC Medical, we encourage our patients to engage in regular exercise activities or a fitness program, in addition to receiving regular chiropractic services while practicing daily healthy food and nutrition intake. In doing so, this will help you to reach your most optimum level of health possible. We recommend consuming healthy food to refuel your body and replenish the carbohydrates and proteins that were used to work out. When it comes to working out, we offer a wide variety of different exercise options for you to choose from, so any personality out there can find something that they enjoy while getting healthy and in good shape for your next marathon.

Get Adequate Rest

There’s no rush when it comes to training for a marathon. During your workouts, stay at your own pace and fitness level. Additionally, your training program should include adequate rest so your body and fully recover from the stress of training.

Set Realistic Goals

If you’re a first-time marathoner, finishing the race is a huge accomplishment. We recommend setting several goals before heading into your marathon, including having a positive experience, getting your body and mind healthy, and having a plan for pacing so you don’t exert too much energy or injure yourself.Above all else, have fun during the entire process.
